Photoshop has opened my eyes to more possibility than I thought possible before. It’s been famously said and quoted often “the more I learn, the more I learn how much I don’t know” I’m paraphrasing but I feel that way with Photoshop. I find it so fascinating that you can do so much to fix a photo. You can add layers and with a little bit of ingenuity (found on youtube) you can do some really cool effects. By just making copies of a layer, distorting one of the copies then letting a little bit of that distortion peak through you product you can add some cool effects to the picture.
My biggest struggle with photoshop was FINDING GOOD PHOTOS!!! I was absolutely struggling! to find a photo that I wanted. I wished that I had my own studio and could summon up the picture that I wanted like a genie. I want what I want in my head, I don’t want to dig on the internet for hours., I found myself wasting a lot of time trying to find the right picture. …that may be why I lean a little more towards Adobe Illustrator. I can just make what I want and if its a lack of skill I can fix that, but if it’s a lack of a good photo…that one takes a minute.
